Canastota Man Charged With Rape

A Canastota man has been arrested and charged with rape.

State Police say 32-year old Kenneth Chaires allegedly had sexual contact with a girl under the age of 11 in the Town of Lenox.

Chaires was arraigned in Town of Lenox Court and is being held without bail.
