Car Damages Entrance At Faxton Hospital

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Bennett Street entrance to the Faxton Campus of Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare will be closed for several days for repairs.

The driver of a vehicle parked in a handicapped space adjacent to the Bennett Street lobby backed into the building yesterday afternoon, causing damage to four of the glass windows.

The driver was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for evaluation.

No other injuries were reported.

Patients and visitors are asked to use the Urgent Care of Cancer Center entrances to the Campus.

UPDATE:  The Bennett Street Lobby at the Faxton Campus of Faxton-Saint Luke's Healthcare is open again.
