Car, Tractor Accident On Rt 840 Sends One Man To Hospital

An accident involving a farm tractor and a car resulted in a Clayville man being airlifted to a Buffalo hospital.

New Hartford Police say 23 year old Abagail Tompkins hit the back of the seed spreader being pulled by 71 year old Thomas Brown's tractor, causing the tractor to jackknife and overturn.

Brown was brought to St. Elizabeth's hospital to be treated for a skull fracture and internal injuries before he was airlifted to Buffalo.

Tompkins was brought to St. Elizabeth's Hospital and was released after evaluation.
