Utica, NY (WIBX) - Mayoral candidate Bob Cardillo has debuted his "10 -Point, 100-Day Plan for the City of Utica.

Cardillo's points include plans to reduce Utica's  family poverty level of 22 percent, launch "Project Neighborhood" and institute a new clean energy initiative.

He also plans to promote food tourism as a possible way to draw in visitors to Utica.

"The only city that's directly on the Thruway is Utica. Ask John Wade how he does at his restaurant, Delmonico's, with traffic that comes off the Thruway," Cardillo said.

Cardillo hopes to employ urban development grant writers to secure money to fund city programs.
