Former New York State Comptroller and current SUNY Board of Trustees Chairman Carl McCall was at Mohawk Valley Community College today.

McCall was the guest speaker for MVCC's 5th annual Men of Color Symposium.

He spoke with reporters about the unrest in Baltimore.

McCall says it's a terrible situation when black men feel threatened just because they happen to be black.

He says that needs to change.

The Men of Color Symposium highlights issues of importance to men of color and how education can create positive change for minority men.
