Carmelo Anthony poured in 42 points, including a game-winning three-point play in the final minute to lead the Knicks to a 106-104 home win over the Hawks on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

Anthony was 15-28 overall from the field, but made an incredible 9-12 three-point attempts. It was his drive to the hoop and foul that proved to the difference as New York rebounded from Saturday's loss to Philadelphia.

J.R. Smith and Amar'e Stoudemire each added 18, with Stat grabbing eight boards as well. Raymond Felton had 12 points and 10 assists.

Atlanta (25-19) got 27 points from Jeff Teague and 20 more from Josh Smith.

The Knicks (27-15) host Orlando On Wednesday night at 7:30.
