Carpet Doctor Van Reportedly Stolen From Rome This Morning

City of Rome, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies are seeking the publics help in locating the person or persons who stole a white Carpet Doctor van from the City of Rome. Officials say that they suspect that the incident occurred early this morning after the vehicle was observed being driven around in a field behind Yerkie's Trailer Park in the Town of Vernon. Deputies also learned that tools found in the van had been stolen from another resident on Liberty Street.

The 2002 GMC van was left abandoned in the field by the time officials arrived, however it was determined that the vehicle was stolen from 713 Liberty Street in Rome. Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies and Rome police want anyone who may have seen the Carpet Doctor van before 5:30 this morning, to contact them.
