New York, NY (WIBX) - Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver says lawmakers are taking a hard look at the possibility of bringing a casino to New York City.

Right now it's illegal, but Silver says the state legislature is looking to change that, saying it will bring in revenue.

Officials are reportedly eying Willets Points, an industrial area by City Field in Queens to potentially to be a location for the casino.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg has said he's in favor of it.
