Cassville Man Charged In Utica Stabbing

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Cassville man is facing charges following a stabbing on Edgewood Road in Utica.Utica Police say a woman was stabbed multiple times.

She underwent surgery at a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Police arrested 21-year old Nicholas Tuttle after he was involved in an accident on Route 8 in New Hartford shortly after the alleged stabbing.

Tuttle was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say the incident remains under investigation and more charges may be filed.
