Cause Of Dudley Avenue Fire Ruled Accidental

Utica fire investigators say the cause of Tuesday's fire on Dudley Avenue was "accidental."

They say electrical was unable to be ruled out.

The fire extensively damaged the two and-a-half story house at 1602 Dudley Ave.

A family of five was displaced by the fire.

Officials say the owner of the property had not registered the building in the city's ROP inspection program.
