The Cayuga Indian Nation is looking to join a court battle to fight Governor Andrew Cuomo's recent casino deal with the Oneida Indian Nation.

The Cayugas will ask to join a lawsuit filed by the state of New York in 2008 against the federal government.

The Cayugas argue the deal giving the Oneidas exclusive rights to casinos in central New York infringes on their own right to open a casino.

The tribe says the deal is a monopoly and violates federal law.
