New Hartford, NY (WIBX) – A three car chain reaction accident in New Hartford sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.According to New Hartford Police, 25-year old Todd Williams of Sauquoit crashed into the vehicle of 65-year old Pamela Rahmer of Rome whose car was stopped in traffic on Commercial Drive near Route 840 overpass.
A third vehicle driven by 29-year old Daniel Bobo of Deansboro then struck Williams’ car from behind causing the chain reaction collision. Williams and his 18-year old passenger were taken to the hospital with face and back injuries. Police say one lane of traffic had to be closed for the damaged vehicles to be towed from the scene. After their investigation, Williams was issued a ticket for Following too Closely.
