Child, 4, Struck By Vehicle In Hit-And-Run In Utica

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police trying to track down the driver involved in a hit-and-run where a 4-year-old child was hit by a car this afternoon.

Reports indicate the child suffered only minor injuries, however, the man driving the vehicle fled the scene.

It happened around 12:30 today at Mohawk and Elizabeth Streets, police said.

The vehicle was green and the make and model are unknown.

Police say the child had run into the road toward relative when he was hit.
