Chimney Is Raised Over Sistine Chapel As Cardinals Prepare For Conclave To Elect The Next Pope [VIDEO] [PHOTOS]
The Vatican Fire Brigade has added the chimney to the Sistine Chapel as the College of Cardinals prepares to begin the conclave the elect the next pope.
On Tuesday the conclave will begin. The conclave is a secret process which will be made even more so this time around because a media blackout has been imposed on the cardinals after papal-related news was leaked to members of the Italian press.
Only Cardinals below the age of 80 will be allowed to vote. Eleven of the Cardinals are from the United States, making the US the second largest voting bloc in the group.
