Chittenango Man Charged With Rape

A 22-year old Chittenango man has been arrested on a rape charge.

State Police say Clayton Eckerlin allegedly forced a 17-year old girl to have sex with him against her will at his home .

The victim told police she met Eckerlin after she accepted a friend request on Facebook.

Eckerlin was arraigned in the Village of Cazenovia Court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $10,000 bail.
