Chobani Olympic Shipment To Be Donated To Food Kitchens

A shipment of Chobani Greek yogurt that was bound for American Olympic athletes in Sochi will now be donated to food banks in New York and New Jersey.

The shipment was banned by the Russian government for what they cited as customs rules.

Senator Chuck Schumer announced today that Chobani will instead donate the yogurt to the Food Bank for New York City and Saint John's Soup Kitchen in New Jersey.
