Christian Michael Varin of Holland Patent Killed In Car Crash

A Holland Patent teenager is dead after a car accident.

Nineteen year-old Christian MIchael Varin was reported dead on Friday, July 26, 2013 by family and friends who say the crash happened in the early morning hours on Friday.

Varin was a student at Mohawk Valley Community College who graduated from Holland Patent in 2012.

Several news agencies are reporting that he was trying to avoid a deer when the crash took place.  However, authorities have not yet released official details.

Visitation hours are today, Monday, July 29, 2013 from 4:00pm to 7:00pn at the Enea Family Funeral Home located at 4309 Acme Road in Ilion, New York.  The funeral will take place at the First Baptist Church on 8 Second Street in Ilion at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
