The City of Rome will be launching a newly designed website over the weekend, with an official start date of Monday, January 22nd.

Visitors can find information on all City Departments, including the new Rome NY 311 App, on the DPW page

City officials say the site also has an updated appearance and is easier to navigate.

"When citizens, visitors, or tourists view the City of Rome's website they are first greeted by a new design with a large visual on the homepage. This image will change with every season showcasing our four season environment. The current winter photo of our waterfront was taken and generously donated by Michael Colangelo Sr. This design approach is used to make people feel welcomed into our community by just taking a glimpse into our city, enticing them to come visit and explore. An additional new feature includes a search bar on the homepage allowing visitors to easily access a wide range of information without having to navigate several pages. There is also an improved events calendar located at the bottom of every page, a photo gallery under the community tab, and a visitors tab that includes the City's history and links to the Rome City School District, Rome Memorial Hospital, MVCC, Griffiss Business and Technology Park, local Real Estate, and leisure attractions," said Mayor Jacqueline Izzo.

The new website can be found at the same web page, RomeNewYork.com.
