Mayor Robert Palmieri is announcing that the City of Utica's property auction brought in over $200,000 in revenue for the city.

The auction was held on October 17th, with 10 of the 14 properties up for auction sold.

Three of the properties were homes while the other seven were vacant lots.

"I am pleased with the results form last night's auction," Palmieri said. "I commend my staff for putting together and successfully marketing this auction. Anytime we can sell city owned land to private investors it is advantageous for the City, both in the short and long term."

The highest grossing property was 2413 Genesee Street which was sold for $104,000.
