Civil Air Patrol Pilot Honored
A Civil Air Patrol pilot from Utica was recently honored for his efforts in the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy.
Lt. Colonel Ken Field was presented the Civil Air Patrol Exceptional Service Award and the CAP Disaster Relief Ribbon at the Central New York Group banquet at Harts Hill Inn.
After Sandy ravaged the East Coast last fall, Field flew numerous photographic missions for FEMA, the military and other agencies.
