Claudia Tenney joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning to discuss news of Richard Hanna's retirement and other potential candidates who may vie for New York's 22nd Congressional District.

The current state assemblywoman said she wasn't surprised by Hanna's decision, but didn't think it would come so soon in the season.

Tenney, who lost a Republican primary to Hanna for the seat in 2014, also shared her thoughts on others said to be mulling a run in the 22nd district. She did not rule out the possibility of seeking re-election for her assembly position if her congressional bid is unsuccessful.
