It was almost a highlight reel scramble and heave to the end zone that legends are made of. In the end, it goes down as tough loss for the Buffalo Bills and rookie quarterback Josh Allen.

Down four in the fourth quarter, Allen the led the Bills to Miami's 30-yard-line. On 4th-and-11, Allen scrambled away from pressure to extend the play and threw into the end zone to a wide open Charles Clay. However, the pass was slightly under thrown and Clay was unable to adjust to make the catch. Buffalo turned it over on down and went on to lose 21-17.

It ended what was a mixed day for Allen and the Bills. The rookie signal called ended 18-of-33, 231 yards, two touchdowns and two picks. He also ran for an 135 yards.

The Bills drop to 4-8.

Miami stays alive in the playoff hunt at 6-6.
