Clinton Arena Chosen As A Kraft Hockeyville Finalist

The Clinton Arena as one of four finalist communities to be the next Kraft Hockeyville.

State Senators Joseph Griffo and David Valesky made the official announcement at the Clinton Arena on Tuesday.

The winning arena will host a pre-season NHL game and receive $150,000 in rink upgrades.

Second prize will get $30,000 in rink upgrades and third and fourth prizes each get $10,000 for upgrades.

Clinton is in the running against Brandon, SD; Middlebury, VT; and Shreveport, LA.

Online voting opens on Friday, April 13 and runs through Saturday, April 14th at 11:00 a.m.

“The Clinton Arena plays a big role in making the Mohawk Valley a great place to live and raise a family,” Griffo said. “We now have the chance to make the arena even better and I hope that people cast a vote for this community asset.”
