Utica, NY - (WIBX) Incumbent Democratic Congressman Michael Arcuri is holding a Public Rally at the Stanley Theater in Utica to welcome former President Bill Clinton. Clinton is coming to Utica to endorse Arcuri who is facing a re-match with Republican Richard Hanna.

Arcuri's camp said the event will start at 7:30PM and is open to the public however, everyone must pre-register in order to attend the Rally. Those looking to be a part of the event can sign up by visiting Arcuri's campaign website at www.arcuriforcongress.com/rally or by calling (315)733-1400. Arcuri's people also advise that no large bags, backpacks, or signs on sticks will be allowed and all bags will be subject to searches by the Secret Service.

Clinton is also speaking at Colgate University at 7PM as part of the Global Leaders Lecture, and Barbara Brooks, Director of Public Relations and Marketing said, "Former President Bill Clinton's commitment is to be at Colgate from 7 to 8PM."

Arcuri said the event marks the first Presidential visit to Utica since John F. Kennedy's visit to the area 40 years ago.

His Republican challenger, Richard Hanna also received a high profile endorsement from former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani who traveled to Utica in September to throw his support behind Hanna
