RPD: Clinton Man Injured Baby On Several Occasions

Clinton, NY (WIBX) - A Clinton man was taken to jail on charges that he caused serious injury to an infant when he lived in Rome several months ago.The suspect, 20-year-old Jonathon E. Greener of College Street, is accused of inflicting injury on the baby on more than one occasion.

The investigation conducted by Rome police started in January, when officials responded to a report of the infant being injured. They say the baby suffered several broken bones that were in various stages of healing. Greener is being held in the county lock-up with bail set at $50,000.00. Greener is charges with five counts of Assault in the Second Degree, all Class D felonies. Police are not releasing Greener connection to the young victim.
