Clinton Woman Injured In MVA

Westmoreland, NY (WIBX) - A two-car accident on Route 233 in Westmoreland sent a Clinton to the hospital.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office say 42-year old Patricia Nessel was injured when her car was hit by a vehicle driven by 26-year old Andrew Leary of Rome.

Nessel suffered head and neck injuries and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.

Her 5-year old son and 2-year old daughter were in the car but were not injured.

Deputies ticketed Leary for unsafe speed for road conditions and failure to keep right.
