You can take the boy out of Utica but you can't take Utica out of the boy. Singer/songwriter Andrew Horn lives in Massachusetts but he calls Utica home and he's honoring his hometown with a new song and video called 'Utica.'

You may recognize a number of Utica landmarks in the video as Horn drives and walks around Utica as he reminisces with the lyrics "After all of the place and all of things I've been shown. Nothing replaces the feeling of coming home. I just want to be known."

I took my childhood memories from my parent's home in Utica and put it into the attic. I really was looking through those memories for the first time in years for the video. So it was a really cool, genuine moment

Andrew says he tries to come back home as often as he can. "The main line in the song is 'I just want to be known.' Every time I come back to Utica I don't have to be anybody else but me. I figured I've been going back so many times I should make the video while I'm here."

The number one thing Andrew misses from home, other than his family is the food. "The food is so good in Utica," he says. "Especially the greens from Georgio's, tomato pie and the Bagel Grove, those bagels are amazing."

Food isn't the only thing Utica is known for. Andrews says he'll stack the brewery against any other in the country. "I've travelled to 49 states and try to take in a brewery tour everywhere I go. It does not get any better when it comes to history and flash then the West End Brewery. That brewery tour is amazing."

If the great food and local brewery weren't enough, the people always remind Andrew why he calls Utica home, even after travelling the country. "Utica has a heart and people are always striving to make it better."

Andrew moved to Boston to attend medical school because he says "it's always good to have a plan B with music." But he also bought a house in Utica. "I'll always be connected to the area no matter where I put my stuff down." It's the same house featured in the video. "I took my childhood memories from my parent's home in Utica and put it into the attic. I really was looking through those memories for the first time in years for the video. So it was a really cool, genuine moment," he says.
