Cold Brook Woman Facing Welfare Fraud Charges

A Cold Brook woman has been arrested on welfare fraud charges following an investigation by the Herkimer County Sheriff's Office Welfare Fraud Unit.

38-year old Patricia Stanley is accused of receiving nearly $33,000 in HEAP, SNAP and Medicaid benefits that she was not entitled to.

Stanley is facing several charges, including grand larceny and welfare fraud.  She was arraigned in Town of Little Falls Court and sent to the Herkimer County Jail on $5,000 bail.
