Colgate To Meet Wagner In First Round Of FCS Playoffs

Hamilton, NY (WIBX) - The 2012 Patriot League Champion Colgate Raiders travel to Wagner on Saturday for their first round NCAA playoff game.

24th-ranked Colgate (8-3) finished the season on a seven game winning streak.

The Raiders are led by Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, QB Gavin McCarney and RB Jordan McCord, who both rushed for over 1,000 yards this season.

It will the Raiders seventh FCS Playoff appearance under Head Coach Dick Biddle.

Wagner (8-3), which won the Northeast Conference title, will be making its first playoff appearance.

Kickoff is at noon from Hameline Field on Staten Island.
