Comets Continue Playoff Push with 3 Games This Weekend

The Utica Comets look to expand on their current hot streak as they prepare for three contests this weekend.

Utica has won 8-of-10, and earned a point in nine of their last ten games, to narrowly move into the fourth and final playoff spot in the North Division. While St John's has a one-point advantage on Utica, the playoff positions are determined by possible points percentage. Currently, the Comets are clinging to that final playoff position by one one-thousandth of a percentage point (.533 to .532).

Continuing to collect wins, or any points at all, are critical with only 15 games to play.

Utica hosts Syracuse at The AUD on Friday night, then begins a six-game road trip, including road visit to Bridgeport on Saturday night and a tilt in Providence on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the IceCaps host Rochester for two games on Friday and Saturday.
