Comets Return Home Looking To Maintain Playoff Position

The Utica Comets have another three-game weekend on tap, and with only 6 games to play in the regular season some home cooking will go along way toward a playoff spot.

Utica currently holds the fourth and final postseason slot in the North Division, mere percentage points ahead of St. John's - but just two points behind Albany for third.

Riding an 8-game home winning streak, the Comets host the division leading Marlies on Friday night (7:00) at The Aud. On Saturday they visit Rochester before returning home to play St John's on Sunday afternoon (3:00).

Sunday's meeting also kicks-off Comets' fan appreciation week, including prize raffles featuring autographed team memorabilia and gift certificates to area businesses.
