The Utica Comets are returning to the John F. Kennedy Civic Arena in Rome this Fall.

Comets President Rob Esche announced today the team will return to Kennedy Arena to host the Adirondack Flames in a preseason game on Friday October 3, at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be $5 and go on sale September 6.

Only 700 tickets will be available and will be sold exclusively through Kennedy Arena.

Th Comets hosted the Adirondack Phantoms in Rome last September in front of a sold out crowd.

“Last year’s preseason game was such a tremendous success and we received such strong support from the Rome community all season long,” said Esche. “Being able to host a preseason game in Rome, give back to the community and showcase our players in their beautiful facility is the perfect fit for our organization. ”
