Community Foundation Announces Education Initiative

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is unveiling a new initiative which will focus on the education levels of residents in the two counties.

The education initiative 25/25 focuses on the goal of increasing the percentage of adults in Herkimer and Oneida Counties who have bachelor's degrees to 25% by 2025.

The two counties currently fall below the state and national averages of adults who have a bachelor's degree or higher.

The foundation will be holding community meetings to explore how to move forward.
