Comptroller Cites “Significant Concerns” About Herkimer’s Budget

Albany, NY (WIBX) - "There are significant concerns" with the proposed budget for the Town of Herkimer.

That's the word from State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli in the results of an audit being released today.

Citing at least $228,000 dollars of expenses not accounted for in its budget, DiNapoli says the village's finances are "too precarious" and may not be "within the constitutional limits."
