Congressman Richard Hanna Remembers Memorial Day

Washington, DC (WIBX) – Representative Richard Hanna offered the following statement in observance of Memorial Day.
“Today we honor our fallen heroes. Memorial Day is a time to recognize those who’ve served and protected our nation and our freedom but never returned home. The brave men and women of our Armed Forces have made freedom possible. To serve one’s country is among the most noble and selfless acts available to man, particularly during times of war.
“I commend all those who gave themselves to this nation in combat, and we remember those who are no longer with us. It is our duty to honor and mourn our fallen soldiers who sacrificed on our behalf. We will never forget.”
