Utica, NY (WIBX) - Local officials came together at Utica's Kemble Square to highlight the completion of a construction project that will house several local families.

A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the completion of the project to house thirty-seven low and moderate income families.

It was part of a major effort by Utica's Housing Visions, and the New York State Homes and Community Renewal to improve the quality of life for the families.

The project was made possible through the use of Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
