NEW YORK (AP) — A two-day auction of the contents of Ronald and Nancy Reagan's ranch-style home in California will include everything from personal mementos to objects the couple took with them to the White House.

Christie's on Thursday announced the highlights of the Sept. 21-22 sale in New York City.

Christie's says the collection of more than 800 items including furniture, decorative arts, paintings, books and jewelry is "overwhelmingly personal." It contains pieces the Reagans lived with, from their time in Hollywood through to their post-presidential years in Los Angeles. The couple moved into their sprawling hilltop home in Bel Air after leaving the White House in 1989.

The items are expected to fetch more than $2 million, with proceeds going to The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
