Control Tower At Griffiss Slated To Close

Griffiss International Airport's air traffic control tower could close on April 7th due to sequestration cuts.

The Federal Aviation Administration has released a list of towers at 173 small and mid-size airports scheduled to close.

Oneida County has a week to make its case to the FAA for keeping the tower open.
