HAGUE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say they've arrested two people suspected of shooting the owner of an Adirondack general store earlier this week.

The Post-Star of Glens Falls reports (http://bit.ly/2qmiMmI ) that state police say a man and a woman were taken into custody late Thursday in connection with the wounding of Jim Rypkema, owner of the Hague Market in the Warren County town of Hague.

Police say he was working Tuesday afternoon in his seasonal store near Lake George when he was shot several times. He's recovering at the hospital in Burlington, Vermont.

Officers from several law enforcement agencies searched the surrounding Adirondack woods for the suspects. Troopers haven't released information on the suspects' capture or released their names.

The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned on robbery charges Friday morning.
