Countdown To 2018 Heart Run And Walk Weekend

The 2018 America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk Weekend is just two weeks away.

The event will take place on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 3rd at Utica College.

The Healthy For Good Expo will be held on Friday in UC's Clark Athletic Center, with the run and walk set for Saturday.

New this year, parking for the Expo will be available at one location, the American Heart Association office at 125 Business Park Drive.  Shuttle buses will run from 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Shuttle buses route will also be streamlined for Saturday.  Parking will be available at ExcellusBlue Cross BlueShield and the American Heart Association offices in the Utica Business Park, as well as Utica National Insurance and National Grid.  Parking will no longer be available at Sangertown Square.

The 10-mile run is back this year, replacing the half-marathon, which has been run the last two years.

The 47th annual WIBX Heart Radiothon will take place on Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
