County Joins Anti-Smoking Campaign

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County is taking an additional step to help you kick the habbit.

The Health Department will routinely refer smokers to the New York State Smokers Quitline as part of a collaboration with the Faxton- St Luke's Tobacco Cessation Program.

Clients served through various program, including WIC, Lead Primary Prevention and Community Wellness will be provided with educational material on tobacco cessation and contact information for the State's Quitline.

It provides a variety of support services, including nicotine patches, for free.
