Couple Killed In Plane Crash From Utica

The couple killed in the crash of an "Angel Flight" in Fulton County were from Utica.

Authorities say Frank and Evelyn Amerosa were aboard the plane when it crashed on Friday night outside Albany.

Pilot John Campbell of Connecticut also died in the flight from Massachusetts to Rome.

The search for Frank Amerosa's body will resume this morning.

The crash remains under investigation.

Evelyn Ameroa was a long-time employee of the Masonic Care Commmunity who worked directly with the residents.

In a statement, Executive Director Robert Raffle says the residents and staff at the facility are saddened by the tragic death of Evelyn and her husand Frank.

Raffle says Evelyn brought joy to everyone she knew.

He says their thoughts and prayers are also with the family of Angel Flight volunteer pilot John Campbell.
