Crash Kills Two Adults, Baby on I-10 in Mississippi

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) — Two adults and a baby died when their car rear-ended an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10 in Jackson County.

Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Benjamin Seibert tells The Sun Herald a 6-year-old boy also in the car survived and the driver of the big rig was not injured.

The crash occurred about 8:58 p.m. Wednesday in a westbound lane near Ocean Springs.

The 6-year-old was taken to Ocean Springs Hospital.

Authorities have not released the victims' names.
