ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say emergency crews have been searching one of the Finger Lakes for a swimmer who was reported missing over the weekend.

Officials say the Ithaca Fire Department responded to the shore of Cayuga Lake in nearby Lansing around 3:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting a missing swimmer.

Other emergency crews joined in the search, along with divers from the New York State Police and local county sheriff's offices. The search had to be suspended early Sunday morning because of weather conditions.

The search resumed later Sunday but so far the missing person hasn't been found.

No other details have been released.
