The Boston Bruins may have lost their first game since the marathon bombings, but the city won the hearts of America after taking over the National Anthem before the game.

A guy named Rene Rancourt has been singing the National Anthem at Boston Bruins hockey games for the last 37 years.  Last night, before the Bruins' first game back since the attack, he sang the first few lines. But then the crowd overpowered him, and he let THEM sing it.

The crowd was already emotional, after a montage of scenes from the marathon played on the jumbo screen to Phillip Phillips 'Home.'

This will be one of the most emotional things you watch today.  I teared up this morning and had chills up and down my arms.  What a beautiful sight.  May God bless Boston.
