Cuomo Gets Low Grade From Cato Institute

Albany, NY (WIBX) -Governor Andrew Cuomo is getting low marks from a conservative think tank regarding his performance in office.

The Cato Institute has given Cuomo a "D."

They claim the Democratic governor hasn't lived up to a pledge he made in his January 2011 State of the State address to hold the line on taxes now and work to reduce taxes in the future.

The group believes Cuomo's tax plan won't ultimately help the New York economy.
