Albany, NY (WIBX) - Governor Andrew Cuomo says to expect a flurry of lawsuits no matter which way the state settles on the issue of hydrofracking.

Cuomo is predicting there would be a flood of lawsuits regarding New York's eventual decision to either allow or not allow high-volume fracking.

The governor says the state Department of Environmental Conservation is still working on its report into the controversial natural gas extraction process, and there's no truth to the talk that the DEC is waiting to release the report until after the November elections.
