Cuomo Signs Anti Smoking Bills

Albany, NY (WIBX) - With the signing of two bills, Governor Andrew Cuomo is taking aim at smoking near schools and keeping electronic cigarettes away from minors.

The bill which prohibits smoking within 100 feet of the entrances or exits of any public or private school takes effect immediately.

A ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors will take effect January 1st.
