Governor Andrew Cuomo says its probably not a good idea to go forward with Sunday's Bills game in Buffalo.

UPDATE: 11/20/14 4:49 p.m. The NFL has officially ruled out plying Sunday's game in Buffalo. NFL.com is reporting that Detroit and Washington are two potential sites to play the week 12 game. More on that story at NFL.com.

Cuomo called it 'impractical' for the Bills to host the Jets on Sunday after the Buffalo area got hit with more than 5 feet of snow.

Forecasters are calling for another round of severe snowstorms in the area with another 2 - 3 feet of snow expected.

A driving ban is currently in effect for towns around Orchard Park, where Ralph Wilson Stadium is located.

Cuomo says everyone would love to see the game played, but public safety comes first.

Some ideas have surfaced from the NFL about moving the game, NFL.com is reporting Washington and Detroit are possibilities with both teams playing out of town this weekend.  Toronto and Pittsburgh were also under consideration, but have been ruled out. Its possible the game could also be moved from Sunday to Monday. There's no official word from the NFL or the Bills yet.

The NFL is expected to make a final decision on Friday.
