“Cycling the Erie Canal Bike Tour” Stops in Rome, NY
Rome, NY (WIBX) - The City of Rome will welcome 500 bicyclists who will be completing the 5th leg of an 8-day bike tour that begins in Buffalo and concludes in Albany. They'll camp-out on the lawn at Fort Stanwix and though their stay will be short, with a scheduled departure for Canajoharie, NY Friday morning, the Chamber and participating organizers see a great opportunity to show them a full night of Rome hospitality.
Chamber Chairman of the Board Debbie Adamo said: “We enthusiastically welcome the many visitors who will be sampling quite a bit of Rome’s hospitality today. This is a great opportunity to showcase our restaurants, attractions, and places to visit to hundreds of tourists who may decide in the future to make return visits with their families.”
